Active Playtimes

As part of our on-going commitment to providing children with learning activities through play, we have established a system of Play Leaders throughout our playgrounds at break and lunch times. These excellent volunteers from Year 5 provide opportunities for other children to play with specialist equipment, teaching them skill sets and teamwork through play. These include giant connect 4, cheer leading and various sports equipment.

Play Leaders gain valuable experience and responsibility, whilst younger children gain a supervising hand and an inspiring role model. This encourages good behavior and some good old fashioned fun!
