Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural Development
At Twickenham Primary School we encourage children, through experiences in and out of the classroom, to be reflective about the beliefs and values of themselves and others. Through developing and applying their understanding of right and wrong, we aim for our children to develop a range of social skills which will allow them to nurture a well-informed understanding of the options and challenges facing them both inside the school and in the wider community.
As a result of the wealth of experiences and activities our children engage in they develop and awareness and respect for diversity in relation to many aspects as well as develop an appreciation of theatre, music, art and literature.
Central to our ethos is providing children with the skills and attitudes to enable them to participate fully and positively in Modern Britain. Please view our galleries and slideshows for examples of the rich experiences we enable our children to access.
