Be all you can be!

Ameera Soray

The children in 5R have been working with a local artist to decorate a space in school dedicated to the memory of Ameera. The children have chosen to design and decorate doves. The photos and video below show you some of the paper designs the children have been working on. The final doves will be wooden doves with a mixture of paint and ceramic tile mosaic to decorate them.

We are honoured to have been part of this celebration of Ameera's life, she was a part of our family at Twickenham Primary school since she was five years old, always providing laughter and fun for her friends at teachers. She is missed by all.

As a school we would like to thank you for your support and understanding during this difficult time and we thank you for all your generous donations which have now been passed onto the Soray family.

On behalf of everyone at Twickenham, thank you for your continued support and understanding.

On Thursday the 20th of December 2012 the children of Year 5 wrote messages to Ameera and attached them to the balloons used during the celebration of Ameera's life on the Tuesday. The children then released the balloons in the presence of Ameera's parents in the memory of such an important part of our school family.
