It will be differentiated to match the needs of the child. Suitable resources are provided. Advice from outside agencies is sought and used. Ability groupings where appropriate (maths and spellings in Key Stage 2 and RWI Phonics in Key Stage 1 and EYFS). Specific classroom areas to allow for quiet time or focused activities. |
How will I know how my child is doing and how will you help me to review and support my child’s learning? |
Individual Education Plan termly reviews for children with a high level of additional needs or Statements/ Education and Health Care Plans. Feedback from class teacher during termly parent’s evenings. Meetings can be arranged with parents as they require (please contact the school office to book). End of year reports. Ensuring consultation with parents during parent’s evenings and review meetings. |
How will my child be involved in their own learning? |
Feedback in reviews. Child centred targets. Discussion of targets and children setting their own targets. |
